help with hotlinking

i am wanting to stop people using my content, so i am setting up hotlink protection, i want to stop people stealing my content from the folder games on my site, http://nwfuture.x10hosting.com/games i link the games on my site using games/then the game and type. i have also used indexing so know one can directly open that directory. when i setup hot link pro9tection it asks me to write down the sites i want to allow to use my content on the server so this is what iv put:

and the file types:
swf,dcr,dir

so from what i put i suspected when people click on a link on my site it would still work, but it doesnt it says forbidden, why is this i want my games to run from my site but its blocking them, my links i use is games/then the game it should work right?

how can i get hotlinking protection to work but still allow my games from my site to run

is there anyway i can stop people downloading my file by accessing directory which no indexes stops, and stop hotlinking too, but allow them on my site?

well hotlinking protection is on and so is no indexing it always says forbiddon on mine can u refresh and try 10 games at random?

You need an external site to test hotlinking protection.. you cannot test it from sites on your account since they will not be affected.. If some hotlinks you stuff on a plain html site it will work and if someone using an iframe it will not work no need to explain there.. I can explain more but i have rush here and there...

In others late a member link to your game swf file and then try to play it from his site.. there are chances it will play or not play... I remember posting stuf about hotlinking in the FAQ thread read my post there which has more details and codes..

How did i get all the inform about it? Someone @ flashkit forum flash game was been linked by site x.. So he tried it but it failed bcoz it was in an iframe.. the crook was also loaded these member highest scores and even his game and saving alot of bandwidth... I gave that member some codes to use then i am not sure if it worked..

for me, most of the sites work, however the ones' that have /games on the url don't work. it says forbidden...

btw, nice site, did u make it from scratch or use a cms?
