Help with pointing my domain to my x10-site

Hey guys!
I have paid for a domain at a place called loopia (swedish seller of domains) but I dont know how to get it working. First of all, I change my domain name here at x10 hosting to swedishrednecks.eu. At my domain-host I have the possibilty to change the nameservers and its here i guess i'l put in the x10-hosting ones. And then I also have 4 alternatives to use my domain. 1, use DNS. At that place it sais type A and then a field to put something in. Also there are options to point my domain to an external adress. I guess I should choose the DNS alternative but i'am new to this so I dont know what to type there. Please Help me

You just need to use the DNS.

Enter: ns1.x10hosting.com & ns2.x10hosting.com.

Then, you may need to wait up to 48hrs for the changes to propogate, but it's usually quicker.

It sais that the inforamtion i enter was invalid ;(

Maybe it's an IP adress i have to insert? I think i saw it somewhere here on the forums.

Those 2 items are all you should need to enter for DNS.

Are you sure you're putting it in the right field?

Hmm.

Pic 1 looks fine, though where did those IPs come from? Did you enter them or did the site enter them automatically?

Sorry, I'm not sure about Pic2, & I don't read Swedish, which doesn't help!

Can't you ask your Swedish registrar for support?

As I said, usually you only need to enter the 2 DNSs in order to set things up with your registrar.

Which are the x10 DNS ?
The x10Hosting DNS servers and DNS' IP are:

ns1.x10hosting.com - 67.228.168.190
ns2.x10hosting.com - 74.86.117.241

I just send an email to their support, hope they have som answers.

You don't normally enter IPs, just the DNS as I stated.

Did you try this? (you probably did! )

Anyway, good luck with your registrar's support.

Or maybe another x10 member can help here?......

yea I just entered those and put in the ip from dns 1 in the A-field.

Will wait about 12h now and c if it starts to work

There's nothing more frustrating than a long wait for the DNS to propagate!
