So, I uploaded a test site a little while ago to see how It'd work. It worked great, everything looked good and the advertisments were working.

I go on today to upload some pages (and to get rid of the bottom links, which I won't be using) and the advertisements aren't showing. I also have some words at the top and bottom that weren't there before.

I'd rather not break any advertising rules. Is there a reason they aren't showing up?

the ads look fine for me. its most likely your side.(maybe a ad blocker)

Everything dose look fine. Just make shure you did not clock your site in IE..FF..or etc or a security system and turn of ad-block.

And a suggestion...centering your ad's would make it look better!

Whatever the problem was seemed to have fixed itself.

Thanks for the advice as well, I'll center the ad.
