RadioGalactica is, job it's an adventure! We started the station out in January of 2009, and have slowly built up our music vault to over 400 artists in 18 months. Most of my free time goes to running the streaming server, and preparing the show's than I am a part of.
We center on the independent and unsigned music scene, and try to promote those artists to the best of our ability. 100% of the operating cost is paid by those that are affiliated with the station, and we do not pay our DJs any kind of salary for doing live shows on the streaming server.
As you can see, this is definitely a labor of love, and we wouldn't be doing this if we didn't love the music. Our artists come from all over the world, and give us direct permission to air their music through the streaming server.
