Your account may be a new
"high risk" account due to your country of origin. Accounts from countries considered "high risk" have fewer privileges for at least the first seven days. If you build a site that follows the
x10Hosting Terms of Service, you can apply to have the restrictions lifted after seven days.
That may sound like discrimination, but the policy is in place for a couple of reasons. One of the reasons is that your country may have copyright laws that are not completely compatible with US laws, so while it might be perfectly legal for you to use material in a certain way in your own jurisdiction, x10Hosting is bound by US law and the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act), and must quickly act to suspend violations of US law. Similarly, what constitutes criminally fraudulent wire transactions and so forth differs from country to country. And there may be a history of prior abuse from your country, but not sufficient to place it on the blacklist.
Assigning fewer resources to a new account makes the takedown process less "expensive", since the account, though inaccessible after suspension, still consumes space until the punitive suspension period has elapsed and the account can be deleted. It only takes a one-week show of good faith on your part to have your account expanded to a "regular" Free Hosting account, so the initial restrictions aren't all that harsh.
