I have played both. I prefer the adventure (sometimes point and click) games. Does anyone else think that that the HOG's are basically the same thing as an Adventure game, they just toss in those annoying "seek n find" puzzles?
I mean one thing I could not get a grip on is that your playing a good story, finding pieces to complete puzzles along the way (a lost key for a door, a crobar to get the boards off some door etc..) and BAM hidden object puzzle when serves no purpose just short of you get a prize at the end. bicycle hidden in a curtain, a chair hidden in a book shelf, I mean really? I think it spoils the flow of the game.
Anyone else notice that?
