High resource suspension

The school computers that I routinely update my site from all trigger the "high-resource usage" suspension when I edit my site for any more than an hour. I can't help that I can't stop every little process on the computer because I don't have admin rights. Is there any way I can stop this from happening?

high resource usage has to do with processes on the server.
can you list the WP plugins you have. Some are known to trip the resource monitor.
