I've installed SugarCRM (using x10's installer) on my site and while using it as a single user I get hit with high resource usage. When this happened I was trying to upgrade Sugar using its built-in wizard and had clicked on step 1, which is a system check. That system check failed (mysql server went away) and I get hit with high usage.

I've done no mods, have loaded no people/accounts/contacts/etc into the tool, and nobody else has access to the site.

I've gone into the queue to get unsuspended.

How am I supposed to use the software provided by x10 if it causes high utilization? I can understand if I write my own code and create an endless loop, but this is a bit of a sticky wicket.

Hi eroberts,

1st and 2nd high resource usage suspensions can be unsuspended by yourself in account management panel http://x10hosting.com/panel.php

For 3rd suspension , the staff has to unsuspned you.

The software is by softaculous and it is no where related to x10. It is extra easy installation option integrated into cpanel that is it.

Your answer did not match my problem. I've already installed SugarCRM via softaculous. But the version installed was old. On attempting to upgrade, I get high CPU usage. Why?

I've read some other posts where the scripts were admittedly set to sensitive for determining high resource utilization. Is that still the case.

Probably the Upgration process is taking too Long and causing High CPU usage... Thats why you are suspended.

If your Account use 25% of CPU usage for more than 1 minute than your account will automatically suspended..

Try to do manual update. Download the update patch from http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/download/sugar-suite.html

The high resource usage detection is automatic. IT is done by server.

Thanks to Boss and gsonline for these relevant responses to my issue. I will try the manual update as suggested and hopefully can get it to work.

I certainly appreciate getting to use this free hosting service. I've been impressed by the available features, even if some have issues.

Now that I have been hit by using too many resources, does that ever reset. I mean if I can keep it under the cap for a long time, am I more likely to receive favor by the sysadmin gods if I blow it later? Or is this 3 strikes and you're out?

No, It does not matter. and you will remain there even after 3 warnings.

First 2 Warnings you can unsuspend yourself immediately but after that whenever you suspend due to high resource usage you have to create support ticket to unsuspend your account.. :)

Hi,

I'm new here, I think the limit is too low.
I transferred a phpbb forum and I had 2 suspensions...:eek4:

You offer good services that are rich in space and options, but there's a problem with some basics operations in php like CMS'updates.

I think you should put a limit more logical because if your services are only for hosting statics web sites, your lamp configuration and the rest become futile.
