i have a http://forums.x10hosting.com/marketplace/59015-low-stakes-credit-raffle.html currently running on this forum, and it's working out pretty well. so i've decided to try something more high stakes for those interested. (or you could check out my http://forums.x10hosting.com/marketplace/59015-low-stakes-credit-raffle.html if these stakes are too high.)
> there are 50 numbers (201 - 250). each person can have no more than 15 numbers. each number costs 100¢.
> leave a post with the numbers you want to buy. once i have recieved a notice that you sent the credits, i'll write it down in this thread.
> the winner gets 3000¢ all to themselves.
> the raffle starts at 9:40pm (pacific time GMT -8:00) on april 6, 2008 and ends at 10:00pm (pacific time GMT -8:00) on april 12, 2008.
> if all of the numbers are not yet purchased by this time, than i will do one of three things:
1. give all credits back,
2. extend the raffle,
3. or run the raffle anyway (i will only do this if i have enough ¢ to pay.)
> i will use the system at www.random.org to select the winner. i will record my screen at the time of the drawing to ensure fair play.(that video will be posted here after the drawing.
> the winner will recieve a PM informing them and the credits will be sent.
> the results will also be posted here.
These are the odds based on how many numbers you buy(i believe in a fair game) :
1 - 2%
2 - 4%
3 - 6%
4 - 8%
5 - 10%
6 - 12%
7 - 14%
8 - 16%
9 - 18%
10 - 20%
11 - 22%
12 - 24%
13 - 26%
14 - 28%
15 - 30% at winning 3000¢
