To be honest, imo, I don't think there is a difference between these two. The credits system may be referring to the currency as 'Points'. Nevertheless, 'points' and 'credits' should be referring to the same term. It's the basic currency of the forum.

Posts are how many posts in the forum you made. Credits is how many credits you have.
Corey and the staff updated the system recently. Credits use to be called Points. Credits / Points mean the same thing.
