Hi,

I have recently started a website with X10 Hosting. At first, the website with the free domain name worked well with Mozilla Firefox. Now that I've purchased a new domain name for the website, I can't display my website's homepage by typing in the URL: www.mydomainname.com. The only way I can get to the homepage is by completely typing the URL address: www.mydomainname.com/index.html. The domain name works fine in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, the problem is only in Firefox. I did change the nameserver records for my domain name so that they point to the X10 nameservers.

How can I make it so I only have to type the URL www.mydomainname.com in Firefox? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean "won't display"?

Instead of the homepage, a blue page called "Default Web Site Page" comes up that says: If you feel you have reached this page in error, please contact the web site owner:

If you are the web site owner, it is possible you have reached this page because:
  • The IP address has changed.
  • There has been a server misconfiguration.
  • The site may have been moved to a different server.
If you are the owner of this website and were not expecting to see this page, please contact your hosting provider.

Go to Firefox and clear your browser cache and history.

I can see your covered wagon site fine using the base URL.
