500 Error...I am getting the following trying to get onto the cPanel and onto my domain of the site.

The following error has not been reported in the latest announcements so I can assume it's an unreported or unfound server error.

I get the following text trying to get to my site:

The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.transisco.co.uk/
The following error was encountered:
We can not connect to the server you have requested.

This means that:
  • The server might be busy at this time.
  • The server is not reachable.
Please try later to see if you can go through.

It seems this error is going around alot, at first i thought it was a PHP upgrade problem, but it seems now that it is something more serious, because i am getting the same error, and i have upgraded my PHP ages ago, and i have checked all permissions, this could be why Corey is recompiling apache.

If you had checked the status of the server which you are on (Stoli) ->

you would have seen this - > HTTP :
80.gif
<-

This is the reason you cannot see your site.

no when I was getting this error, the load times were fine , around 4's and 5's and everything was online, the only reason I posted about it is because there wasn't an announcement about it.
Edit:
...wow...hold on...my main site is working...just checking wordpress blog...no.
The following keeps happening since today:

wordpress-logo.png

Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.

* Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
* Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
* Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

The transfers with the SQL databases is not complete, so you are getting the error.

If you read in the MySQL alert thread, Corey said he would backup everyones databases before moving them across to the new server.

So I am sure you will be able to get them back.

Please consider reading the Server Alerts before opening up any threads :)
