Host very slow

Excellent free hosting service but it is sometimes so slow as to be unusable. Is there any solution to this problem? I use Joomla CMS on mysql database.

I am on lotus and the last 2 days have been hellish (and i mean worse than normal)

when my site rarely is up it takes 30 sec to load even if its a simple page and the browser gives up when the page is halfway loaded cuz the server is so overloaded

please .... stop messing with the servers...

I'm also on Lotus, it was fine up until a few days ago when the mysql went offline for a few hours, even since its been back online, lotus seems to be suffering pretty badly. Currently the loading speed is pretty bad.
However its also to be expected on a free service that gets somewhat abused by users as well - x10 does their best though for their free hosting.

What icetray said - unfortunately the hosting gets abused quite a bit by people who think they should be allowed more than other people. Corey is working on installing something to prevent this from happening.
