Can you clarify more on exactly what the purpose of the 1.8gb file is, along with the purpose of FF.dat on your hosting account? I ask because the current description of it being "assets for a game" would be considered Game File Hosting, as that description is pretty much exactly what FastDL servers are for CounterStrike, and wouldn't be allowed on our services.

I've read the TOS :) maybe we had a misunderstanding, every game needs textures you know like the maps, the item icons, bosses etc, nobody downloads the assets they are server sided files, for the web game FF.dat is one of the assets files but can't be used without all of the assets together. To run a game you need game files, game databases and game resources or assets, hope we cleared this up

Free and Premium hosting wouldn't be able to run the server; knowing that, why would a server-side file need to be stored on the hosting account where the server isn't being ran from?

I'm sure I'm missing something simple with this, but it's a touchy part of the Terms due to the number of accounts we end up suspending for using us as a file storage location for game clients to download their data from, so I'm trying to make sure we're clear on purpose here before we run into a situation where the account ends up being permanently suspended.

Alright, you know web browser games right? You play the game on the website, basically sign up and play no downloads, although I am making a custom client, anyways in order for the game to be played in the website the game needs its assets without assets it wouldn't have anything to load, okay now the game server itself is hosted on my server the only reason I'm using x10hosting is becausr my isp blocks port 80 which is embarrassing to have everyone type in :88 or whatever port I use I set it up so that I don't break the terms of service here. Hopefully it's understandable now o_O

I went and did some digging; your explanation makes some sense, but it's missing two key points that I was able to find through research while waiting for a more completed explanation.

First, the game in question is Monkey King Online. This is owned and copyrighted by R2 Game Co Limited, who have this expressly stated in their Terms of Service:

Our Games are protected by copyrights and are owned by R2Games or its publishing partners. When you download our Games or register an account on our platform, we are granting you a non-exclusive, limited license to use the software only in connection with our Services for non-commercial entertainment purposes.

Second, you were attempting to run a private server for this game (you posted about it on Ragezone, complete with links and a full description). This is not legal, since R2 Game Co reserves all rights to their files (they made them and do not transfer the rights to anyone else) and has made it clear they only authorize users to use their games and files in conjunction with their services, not yours. Due to this, the account would fall afoul of US Copyright Law as you're not authorized to be redistributing these files in any way.

As such, we've been forced to impose an immediate and permanent suspension to the hosting account in question. While I do wish you good luck with your chosen venture in the future, we cannot be a party to copyright infringement.
