Hosting service is down over 50% of the time

Half of the time I check my website, it's down. I get a "The connection has timed out" error. My free hosted website is hsuke.x10hosting.com. If I wait awhile, it'll be back up 10 minutes later, only to be back down another 10 minutes afterward. I can access the forums and the main x10hosting website. It's only my website that's down.

It's been like this since I opened my account a week ago. Is service always this unreliable?

No. One of the reason it's slow is because it is shared hosting, and there are quite a few people abusing the servers. Corey is working on installing something that limits the amount of resources that the user is allowed, which should speed stuff up.

Hello hsuke,

We are very sorry for any inconvenience it has caused you. As Alex Mac states, there are many who abuse the free hosting services. It is one of the top priorities right now to limit the effect these users have on the rest of us. Lotus has been having trouble the past few days, we are looking into it and some possible solutions very soon.
