Hosting type error

Hello, I just logged on to my account and got this error. I havent been on my site in a while but I plan on using it again for the next phase of my class.

An Error Has Occurred
Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system.

Please post on our forums to seek support on this issue.

Also, is it possible to use an ftp program such as cuteftp with this hosting setup?

Yes, it is possible to use FTP on any hosting setup. All you need to do is enter in your cPanel Username and Password as the credentials, and the path is your website address/URL. Also, that error in the account panel is being caused by the server maintenance. When the work is done on the servers, the account panel should be back to normal.

Currently the servers are undergoing major changes and your problem is a result of that. You need to wait until all the issues are resolved. And yes you can use FTP for file transfers on the x10 servers. For more updates on the Server Issues please read the News and Announcements section.
