How can I add pages to my site?

I've been searching around the CP and have had no luck. I clicked 'new file' and edited it, downloaded it, changed it to an html file, and re-uploaded it but I don't know what the url would be for that file. Is there an easier way to add pages?

Yes.. Go and get a "wysiwyg" editor, or html editor, frontpage is great for this.. Make a site, then upload all of the files to your public_html folder, by using the File Manager in cPanel.

I downloaded Dreamweaver CS3 yesterday. Is it possible to make pages with this?

Yes, it is. You need to have basic knowledge of coding, and graphics. There are pre-made pages on it, though.

But what I mean is, how do you know the URL of the file?

I have an idea of what it is:
Let's say this is the example. www.mydomain.com/index.html

So I'd upload an html file called contact_me.html. Would the link be www.mydomain.com/contact_me.html?

You can use an FTP client. Another way is to zip all the files you have created and then use the File Manage uploader and upload the files that way.

I know how to do all of that. What I'm asking is what would the URL of that file be?
