How can i change file permissions?

How can i change file permissions? i can not delete some files after joomla, and cannot instal a newer verion of it... it is impossible with my ftp client(filezilla)

Have you tried deleting using cpanel >> file manger ?

but it doesnt work becaue i can not change the permissions of the folders and files(((
it stay at 644
