how can I mirror my other site on this hosting?

I tried to do the "backup" way. but i couldn't.
i got a forum which i want to transfer to this hosting.
how can i transfer my forum to this hosting without any loss of posts.
i tried to restore the sql database. its not working. i dont know why.

Have you tried inserting the mySQL manually?

what forum script are you using? If you have access to the Cpanel from your other host you can to backup located in the cpanel and backup the database.. create the database and database user via MySQL Databases located in the cpanel.. Go back to BackUp and restore database...

i am not sure if the above methods works..

But is it possible to use the mysql software on shells to do mysql commands, rather than quoting on the internet browser?

example: -h (yourdomainhere).x10hosting.com -u user -p password
