How can I restore the original directories for my account....?

Hi, I think I may have messed up the directory structure by trying to install some templates / joomla / php. I'm not sure what I've done but I can't get my original index page to show up. Is there a way I can revert to a default setting so as to start again. I.m not concerned about losing any files uploaded - I have copies on my HD. Any help would be gratefully appreciated,

You can just delete the contents of your public_html folder to start over. If you require Frontpage, be sure not to delete the postinfo.html file.
