You account was suspended for a zero tolerance violation of x10Hosting terms of service. Your account will remain suspended and terminated after 14 days. You will not get your files back.

Actually, once you uploaded your files onto x10, we have control over them. You were hosting illegal scripts. This violates our Terms of Service which you agreed to when you registered.

No, you were abusing our service. In the terms of service you agreed that you wouldn't host illegal content and we can suspend your account at any time.

The "power" you are referring to comes from x10Hosting terms of service which are set by the owner of x10Hosting and which you agreed to when you signed up. Members of the community support team, such as DeadBattery are authorized to enforce rules set by x10Hosting. You are not going to get your files back. There is nothing left to discuss. Matter is closed.

In the TOS under 4. Cancellation & Refunds:

x10Hosting reserves the right to cancel any service provided at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a prorated refund based upon the remaining period of membership. If a customer contravenes x10Hosting's terms of service, a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation by x10Hosting or the customer. Any incentives offered to customers when opening the account will also be cancelled. Customers may be given the option to purchase services which were offered as start-up incentives in the result of a cancellation. Fees charged on a prepay basis are non-refundable.

Refund in context to free hosting = your files. They won't be returned to you.

Your files will be deleted from the server within around 14 days from the day of suspension.

Plus they aren't your files; your FTP client does NOT work like the mail where you send your only copy unless you make a photocopy of it first.

FTP makes the copy and the COPY ends up on our server. So unless you decided to destroy the original on your system, you still have your files.
