How do I enable mail function?

How do I enable the mail function for my PHP script?
I'm setting up a contact form and I'm getting the error "Warning: mail() has been disabled for security reasons in ..."

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

The PHP mail() function has been temporarily disabled on all free accounts until the trip from Dallas to Chicago is complete.
