How do I install gd libs?

I had started this thread about three days ago, But I didn't find it. So if it is still there, sorry for posting another thread on the same topic.
Anyway, how do you go about installing gd libs and other libraries?

I think the GD Library is compiled in PHP? Not Entirely sure on that one, but something like Coppermine Gallery would use GD Library to allow you to display your images.

GD is compiled in PHP.

GD is installed on our server. It wasn't for a small time because of the server move, however PHP has now been re-compiled with GD support.

Hope that solves your problem.

Another question, does the x10Hosting Apache server have Tomcat and the Java SDK built in also?
