How do i post a second website?

How do i host a second website on a different url?

I think that might only be possible if you get the url from somewhere else (bought, or free dns service such as dyndns) and uses it as a addon domain. Then you simply make a folder withing public_html for that domain, and make sure thats what you specify when creating the addon domain.

If you have domain names, you can add the domains to your account to host multiple sites.

If you don't have TLD, consider getting a .co.cc domain. Its Free, i think.

Umm.

Im not the greatest with This stuff all i got is one website up on x10hosting
and want to know if i can get another one up.
If some1 could explain what that stuff is that would be great.

You just get one subdomain per account. You can either purchase domains and then add them to your account, or if you want the website can be in this order. http://yoursite.x10hostin.com/name

If you're referring to two subdomains from x10, then no it is not possible.

sign up for an account at http://www.dyndns.com/ and get a domain from them, it's free. Then add that domain as an addon domain into cpanel of your account. Go to dyndns and put the IP of your server into IP address field for that domain. Server IP can be found in the list on your left hand in cpanel.

If you are asking if you can create a totally different website, then no we only allow one account per person on the free servers.

You can create a subdomain in cPanel:

This will be newsubdomain.yournormalsubdomain.x10hosting.com (or whatever domain name you chose at signup). This also creates a directory for you where you upload the files for your second website.

Subdomains are URLs for different sections of your website. They use your main domain name and a prefix. For example, if your domain is me.pcriot.com a sub-domain of your domain might be support.me.pcriot.com .

yaa co.cc is free to have.But for some VIP domains u may have to pay.

If nobody has requested the .co.cc domain you want before (even if they didn't buy it), it's yours free
Otherwise, $12 (unless they are in current possesion of the domain).

Apparently fffff.co.cc has been requested before, so I had to settle for ffffof.co.cc
(fahads free field full of fun)
