How Do I upgrade

How do I upgrade my account from my Account Management Panel? I don't see an upgrade link any where. According to this topic: http://forums.x10hosting.com/upgrad...if-youd-like-upgrade-change-your-account.html

it says I can do it myself but I don't see how. I want to upgrade to the $5.95 a month hosting.

I tried to sign up there it wouldnt let me. When it asked for my current email and password it kept telling me it was invalid.

The accounts there are seperate from the free hosting accounts. You need to signup for a new account.

Can I sign up for the same subdomain as my free account for the $5.95 a month hosting? I would like to use the same subdomain.

Sorry for the late response.
Yes, you can signup with the same subdomain you currently have in your free hosting account. You can also select to "transfer" all the content of your free account, so you don't have to do it yourself.

OK How do I go about doing this? And will I have to set up my site all over again?

I just tried to get the $5.95 hosting from the services page. I choose that I wanted to use a subdomain and entered my current one, for Current cPanel user if transfer is wanted I typed it my current cpanel name, choose credit card as payment, then I choose the option I am an existing customer and wish to add this order to my account, then it asked for my emaill address and password and when I put that in it says Login Details Incorrect. Please try again

If you are signing up for the first time then you should say that you are a new customer. The free hosting section account is seperate from the paid account.

No I am not a new custom I'm trying to change my account to the paid $5.95 account but I want the same subdomain.

Yes I would be a new paying customer but not new to x10Hosting since i already have a free account with the subdomain. So i have to sign up as a new customer to get the $5.95 paid account with the same subdomain as the free account? I would hate to have to delete the site and start over.

The client area is only for PAID accounts.
If you signup for a paid account and it's the first time, then you need to select that you're a new customer. On the signup process, you'll be asked for "Current cPanel name:". If you fill this field with your current free cPanel username, your FREE hosting account will get transferred to the paid server, and then upgraded.

Ok great thanks. That's exactly what I needed to know. I went through the registration process a few minutes ago and I now have the x10 Static hosting. How long does it take for the transfer to take effect? I went into my cpanel and the disk space and the bandwitdth are still showing as the free account.
