How do I use the MySql databases???

I am new to these databases, and I would like to know, how do I use them? I'm sitting here, dumbfounded, no clue as to how to use these databases, any help?

I also use http://w3schools.com/php/php_mysql_intro.asp, it shows how to code databases with php. Also to create a database you need to go into your cpanel account and click on mysql database wizard and its self explanatory. mysql is really easy to code once you get the basics of it down. Good luck!
