Its got bugs, but its faster than IE... so really its up to you of whats better.

However, as long as your using a good firewall/anti virus it don't matter what you use, I choose firefox

But unlike IE, it has a standards-compliant rendering engine, CSS3 support, JavaScript 1.7 support, support for E4X (a new, standard form of AJAX), and a whole lot of other stuff. It's also very, very extensible.

Hmmm... yes pretty good. Was my favourite until I started building websites...

Forms do some interesting things in Mozilla.

Even if you set p a <form> and put nothing in it except the encoding and the action commands, firefox has the tendency to LITERALLY move the WHOLE webpage about 5 or so pixels down and to the right 5 pixels as well.

I am yet to come across anyone who can resolve this. It is EXTREMELY irritating and I was forced to eventually solve the problem by a) attempting to put the website sections with forms in them in subtle frames to push them back up so that the whole structure didn't move or b) put a form beginning in all pages so they are all offset...

Anyone seen this before or able to help this little ametuer?

Best wishes,
Tom...

Ok this is my view on it!

As long as it works, I don't really care! I have a firewall that is reguarly updated to keep me safe, so I don't care about whether it is standards compliant or not!

I know I probably should, but hey thats me...

I use IE!

Regards,
Zenax

I have to agree with musoc. Even before permanently switching to firefox, I still had it installed just so I could check out my site with both browsers to see if they were displaying the same. I'd have to say the reason I now use firefox full time now is because of the fireftp extension, that won me over.

There is an extension for firefox that allows you to switch the rendering engine of Firefox from IE to Gecko, so you can use one browser.

My Vote would be Firefoz, heck im even using it now posting this reply.
Anyway people have to remeber that Firefox is Free thus it is Supseptible to Human Errors and Bugs, and thought its free they dont have to update it but they choose too because because they made it great. Plus its updated as long as your connected to the internet, and have the appropriate Firewal/Anti-Virus-Spyware programs running and some addons too boot ive havent had a reason to run IE except logging into certain sites that require IE and Download Firefox. Use the Firefox browser is better features than IE, being developed all the time so its always getting better than IE. One day i hope Firefox will be Avaliable to all Platforms and come bundled with every OS on install, of course that wont happen...
