I have been working on a new website and I used my own domain but had a problem and had to switch to an x10hosting.com domain. I tried switching back to my own domain and am getting :

action statusError
informationA change to your hosting account's primary domain.
resultA system error occurred while processing this action.

Error Code: 1E9F63B0

I knew what was going on but just for confirmation I went to cPanel and tried to park the domain and was greeted with an error that the domain was already in the system, a much more desciptive message than the above. I have seen many posts with other users with the same error. What I have not seen is any resolution or information to let anyone know how long dead entries are retained. I would expect them not to be cached at all but there may be some management issue for this that i am not aware of.

So finally, my question. How long must I wait before trying to resubmit my own domain again for my site? So far it has been about 22 hours.

The error code translate that

Sorry! the domain name cannot be changed because it is owned by another user

Did you add this domain in cPanel?

I've not ever had to do that before but when I try to PArk the domain I get the following:

.spriteicon_img_mini {float:left;margin-right:5px;background: url(/cPanel_magic_revision_14023476869.5756/frontend/x3/branding/icon_sprites_img_scale_60percent.png);} #icon-parkeddomains_mini {background-position:0 -1113px;width:19px;height:19px; }

Adding Parked Domain
There was a problem creating the parked domain. Show Details
Error from hooks wrapper: Domain action was not successfully completed [1]. Error: Error from park wrapper: m2mexperts.com is already configured.

It makes sense that the error indicates that the domain is in use by another user (me in this instance) however, when I release the domain from the account control panel and switch to a x10hosting.com domain, it should release that previous domain in the back-end so that it can be reconfigured elsewhere. It wouldn't matter if I was moving to another hosting provider but it does matter when I want to move it back to my account where I was orignally using it.

This again makes me ask... how long (if ever) will the system retain this information. Before THE BIG MOVE I had done the same thing and had no issue so I assume it has something to do with new architecture of the new hosting system.

Ok it works now..... All I had to do was submit it in the Account Management domain configuration like I always have. No cPanel changes needed.

What changed? I assume someone cleared the appropriate back-end DNS configurator thingy.

Now... will it reoccur or is this really, really, fixed?

Thanks for the help! Hopefully this thread will help others in the future.
