I've got free hosting (which I like and enjoy), but I've hit a problem. I've used up 3 SQL databases and I'm looking to add BB software which requres a fourth. In my CPanel it clearly says I've used up 3 of 6 databases, but when I try to add another one for the BB software I get a message indicating the number of databases is at its maximum.

Can this be clarified?

cPanel also counts Postgres databases, which actually are not available on the Free Servers.

Hence, the number shown on cPanel is twice the actual number you are allowed.

Look into using "table prefixes" so several scripts can use the same database.

Thanks, I thought it might be something like that. Maybe for free accounts the Cpanel should reflect only 3 databases instead of 6??

There doesn't appear to be a way to make that happen -- cPanel assumes that PostgreSQL is installed and enabled; the only change you can make admin-side is the allocations for both of MySQL and PostgreSQL. If there were a way to set the value to 3 in total (it would have to be an even number), you'd hit your limit at half the displayed total allocation. It's third-party proprietary software, so changing the internals is not an option.
