How to change your url from non-www to www.|https://www

Hello there I am a premium user and I am trying to figure out how to make my domain go from website.com to https://www.website.com and force website.com to redirect to https://www.website.com

You can setup a redirect from the CPanel. Then clear Server Cache, and test if it works. Or if you have CloudFlare setup, then goto the Crypto tab and scroll down to Always Use HTTPS and enable it.

Yes, you just need to use Cloudflare with the Flexible SSL. You need to have your own domain. You cannot do https://username.x10host.com . My site is https://www.kolbys.net/ and the only thing the company pays for is the annual domain renewal.

Thanks very much. I do have my own domain name, which I link to x10hosting. Sorry, I am still not clear about this. In cPanel I see 6 Cloudflare icons, which one do I use? And then what are the actual steps...? Thanks.

In the CloudFlare - Supercharge your website box, click the CloudFlare icon and you should be able to activate/manage it from there.

And upon further review, you can do https://www.username.x10host.com (possibly other sub-domains)

Yes, you need Cloudflare Crypto set to flexible and redirect all traffic through Cloudflare. Also don't forget to add MX record within Cloud Flare DNS table with an IP address of your server, or mail delivery from people will stop working.

Thanks a lot. It seems that to ask CloudFlare directly one needs to have an account with them - sorry if I missed an option where an account is not needed.

So I saw little point in opening an account just to ask a question, hence my asking here if anyone had come across this strange looking clause... Has anyone else any insight or knowledge about this? Thanks.
