How to directly run html file when accessing website through browser?

Hi!
I recently copyed over a small .html file and when i type in he web address it shows it with the file index. I was just wondering how I can make the website address directly link into the .html file i have uploaded.

Any help would be appreciated,

You simply need to name the file index.html. (Note that it is case-sensitive; the whole filename must be in lowercase.)
