How to get my website uploaded

Hello, everyone. This is my first time posting on this forum so bear with me if I am not able to explain myself very well on asking this question. How do I get my website to work? I currently logged into my ftp site to upload my files (index.html, image.jpg and a sound.mp3). I uploaded these files in the main domain hosted area and then tested my webpage (www.indiscretionband.x10.bz) and all I got was a page stating "Index of /cgi-bin". What does this mean? I also noticed that the hosting domain has a lot of subfolders. Am I uploading my files in the wrong area? Please help! Thank you.

Where exactly did you upload your files too?
By default they should be in the public_html directory.
