How to get rid of the index page

Sorry, rookie question.. im in File manager, what Dir would this be located and what file is this?? index.php??

It would be in public_html/ or in www/ (they're the same folder)

(assuming you open the file manager up to your home directory).

index.php is a PHP file, Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP). It's a dynamic web language.
