How to get the Routers IP address anyhelp?

Hi,

any one please let me know, how can i login to my routers. though i have tried the ip combination like "192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1, 192.168.100.1, 192.168.1.100 and so the many) but i am not getting the login screen.

I am using the Vodafone Datacard.

any help how can i login to my router?

Hello, if you right click the network connection and press "status" then go to "support" you will see "default gateway" this is your routers/modems IP.

192.168.1.1 is your router login page... if it is not opening then there must be some problem in router...

contact service provider. or restart router and try again

Jumping in, 192.168.1.1 is the most common but it's not always there; on Belkin's it's commonly 192.168.2.1 with the computers on the network starting at 192.168.2.2, and on the last router/modem combo I had from verizon it was at 192.168.100.1 for some stupid reason I have yet to understand. On the belkin I'm on now, 192.168.2.1 is the router.

You're right that it's the most common but if it's not loading there, my guess is because the router in question is at another address; hellsheep's way is guaranteed to make sure that is the right IP first. Assuming it -is- at 192.168.1.1, do take Boss's idea and reset/restart the router, but check to make sure it is at 192.168.1.1 first.


And with that, I have to go restart mine; the firmware's bad and the server on the router for the config just crashed.
