If you have recently set-up a new Wordpress blog, you may be asking yourself, "How do I upload a new theme?" Proceed through the following steps, and you should be all set.
Instructions
1. Download the theme of choice from Wordpress or another them provider
2. Second, upload or copy the zip, assuming it is zipped, to the wp-content/themes directory. This folder should be present in the location where you installed Wordpress
3. Once you have the wp-content/themes/theme_file.zip in the directory aforementioned, then unzip the file in place.
4. After the file is unzipped, there should be a director listed wp-content/themes/theme_file, in addition to the existing directories.
5. From this point, you can either keep the theme_file.zip or remove it.
6. Proceed to your Wordpress administrator panel > Appearance
7. The newly installed them should be available. The only step remaining is to activate the newly installed theme.
8. The last step is to complete your test.
