How to make my site go live?

When I click on my domain name I get the following page:
Index of /

Name Last modified Size Description

What are the steps to change this to my homepage?

By "homepage" do you mean your WordPress install?

If so, open/create the .htaccess file in /public_html (you need to enable viewing hidden[dot] files )

Add a line:

DirectoryIndex wp/index.php

Note: if the only thing that you are going to have on your site is WordPress, it is better to install it in /public_html rather than /public_html/wp
