How To Make Your Voice High Quality

hey guys..im using adobe audition for producing mixtapes..but still i cant make it a high quality sound...especially when it comes to vocals...can you please give me a tutorial about it..thanks a lot...

I'm sure that there is a setting that lets you change the quality you get, like 8, 16, 24, and 32. 8 is telephone quality and 32 is...I think HD DVD quality. And you need a good microphone too.
