I'm not really sure what you're talking about.
What you can do is point your domain to x10hosting nameservers (so you can host your website with us), and then configure the MX entry's (to delegate & host your mail with Google Apps).

yes i apologize for the lack of clarity in my question. But people who have done this before would know what I'm talking about.

What i want is to use google apps with my domain and at the same time point my domain to x10hosting name servers. I cannot configure nameservers and google apps at the same time. when name server is configured google apps is disabled and when google apps is configured a differnt name server is automatically assigned.

But as per the support i received from my domain service provider(idotz.net) they instructed me to get the ip address of the hosting server. this is precisely the support i got.

"You cannot change the nameservers to your domain as that will disable the Google Apps service. Please setup your domain to forward to an IP address. Check with your hosting provider for the server IP address."

so please provide me with the ip adress they are talking about.. i think i have to give that ip address in the A record field.

Thanks!

I've done this many times, and I didn't understood your question before. We reply many threads per day, so we just ask users to be as clear as they can, so we can help them faster.

What you want to do is set an A record. The IP you should point it to is: 74.86.240.236
