I am using LimeSurvey (an online survey platform), which I have configured to send out confirmation emails to users who have filled out a questionnaire. My first choice would have been to spoof the From address to my personal email, because that's where I want any replies to go (and, in fact, that's the only address I would want the users to know about). As I have found out from reading previous threads, though, x10hosting prevents From spoofing by discarding such emails silently. That's disappointing, and it also means that I now have to find a way to at least set Reply-To to my main email address, but the LimeSurvey email configuration panel doesn't have that option. Any suggestions on how this can be done?

Thanks!

at URL [ https://manual.limesurvey.org/Survey_settings#General ] I 'see'...
==>
#10 - Admin email: This is the email address of the administrator (as above) and is used as the 'reply to:' address on any emails sent. You can also enter several email addresses separated with a semicolon - that way survey administrator notifications are sent to more than one person. (Example: "firstaddress@test.com;secondaddress@test.com")

Thanks very much for looking this up, and yes, the manual does say that, but in actual fact, LimeSurvey seems to use "Admin email" as the From field, not Reply-To, and so, if I use my personal email there, the sending fails. When I put in the hosting domain's email address, it starts working again. By the looks of it, the manual is incorrect...

I have, in fact, set up forwarding to my personal address, and it'll do as a workaround for now, but I'd really like to find a way to either spoof the From field or at least use Reply-To...
