How to upload a backup of wordpress

Well basically I've gotten news that my site may be unfairly getting reported (or even tapped into) by one of our former members. So I decided to download a backup with the softaculous feature, now lets say if the site were to be taken down, how would I reupload my wordpress files to x10/cpanel?

Hi eawrestl,

You can create a Softaculous Backup within your cPanel. To restore it, however, you would need to follow the instructions on Softaculous' wiki.

Please be aware, however, that you should always download Softaculous backups to your computer when you make them, as we frequently delete Softaculous backups and do not allow large amounts of backups to be hosted, as it is considered "File Hosting".

Another method of backing up your site would be to go into phpMyAdmin and use the "Export" feature to download your database. You can then download your files using FTP. To restore your installation, you can simply reupload your files and then use phpMyAdmin's "Import" page to reupload your database.
