How to upload a directory with cPanel ?

Usualy I upload directories with a FTP client.

I tried to use the file manager of the cPanel : it accepts uploading files from computer but NOT directories ; is it normal ?

It is normal, But you can upload the directory by compressing as zip or tar.gz

then uncompress it.

I don't know, It is upto the cpanel creators whether to give the functionality or not,

If I have to say normally , No

For multiple files and folders you have to use ftp client.
