1) How do I upload FOLDERS containing documents? The FTP in my account seems to upload only single files (not folders).

2) Where do I submit a change of domain name, so I can retain my previous standing with the browsers?

3) What hostname do I use to FTP into my account? (host name - x.hosting.com did not work.)

4) Is there a way I can work directly in Unix, at the command prompts?

1. You can zip your folders and later extract them in cpanel.(File Manager)
2.You can either change the main domain from account panel or park the domain name in cpanel
3.Use ftp.yourdomainname.com .You can also use servername.x10hosting.com as host name ( where server is which server you belong eg-lotus or chopin. You can find it in account panel)
4-Free hosting doesnt provide this
