Hi
if you are making a forum, you need to have a valid license if you use IPB or vbulletin and if you are looking for free forums, then phpBB is your solution, download them, connect to your control panel using FTP, user id etc for FTP is givien in your Control Panel >> FTP Management Section.
Then in public.html folder, you can upload your forum.
