Hi, I run four website/email accounts for my wife and myself. Costs a steep $600/year. Looking to cut that down.

Assuming I upgrade from my free account to a paid one, what would it cost to have web-hosting, email and domain-name service on x10hosting for four web/host/email packages?

Also, how good is X10's phone support? 24/7?

Check out my REAL website at www.philly-bob.net. My free x10 site is phillybob.x10host.com.

My main interest is graphic design, with some Python programming.

Woah! That's a very steep price you're paying!

We don't have phone support, but we do have 24/7 ticket support, with a great support team available to you. :)

We also offer a free migration from our free hosting to our paid hosting, and if you're on a host right now that supports cPanel, we can also help you migrate your website from there as well--just open a ticket and tell them I said it was okay. ;)

Our web hosting starts at $3.95/month when billed triennially (every three years). This includes a dedicated IP address, SSL Certificate and a domain registration/transfer for the lifetime of your service with us.

I'm very happy to hear you're considering our services. If you have any questions, you can feel free to email our sales team at sales[at]x10premium[dot]com, or reach out to me personally at neil[at]x10hosting[dot]com.

Thanks, Neil.
I'm accustomed to using Mozilla for FTP file transfer. Does X10 allow the use of third-party FTP?
"If you're on a host that supports cPanel..." How can I tell whether my current sites support cPanel?
Can I assume that if I upgrade my phillybob.x10host.com account, I will be able to tell browsers to go direct to phillybob.com, i.e., can I lose the x10host redirection?
P.S. I'm here on a buddy's recommendation. He says your support is just fine (even though it's not telephone).

Hi Phillybob,

Of course! You can use whichever FTP Client you'd like.

Do you use a control panel on your current hosting account? If so, it's most likely cPanel--it should look similar to the "x10x3" theme you have on your free account panel.

That's correct, you can use phillybob.com (or any other domain) as your main domain on paid hosting.
