You would install the theme just like any other theme and then configure any possible settings inside the WP Dashboard (usually under Themes > Theme Options but could be in a different location).

Do you have a link to the theme you're asking about?

Hmm that seems to be a Blogger theme, not a WordPress theme, but a WP version is available for free here: http://www.web2feel.com/evander/

1. Download the zip archive.
2. Go into your WordPress dashboard.
3. On the navigation sidebar, click on the Themes menu.
4. Click on the Install Themes tab.
5. On the top line of links, click on Upload.
6. Upload the zip file.
7. Click Activate and you're done.

Alternatively:

You can extract the contents of the zip archive (keep folder structure) and upload the entire Evander folder to wp-content/themes. Then go back to the Themes page in WordPress and click Activate on the Evander theme.

it simply doesn't matter whether the theme you are trying to install is written in HTML5, XHTML or even HTML4.01. You just install your theme normally like any other theme as stated above by techairlines. The only difference is that your wordpress blog will have HTML5 code on it.
