http 500 internal server error when tryign to access my site and cpanel

is something down cuz i keep getting this error when i try to get to my site. also i tried doing http:howtokubuntu.x10hosting.com:2082 as well as /cpanel i cannot login what can i do for the time being.

also how can i change the password that i use to login to the control panel
