HTTP 503 - Backend Failed

My setup is simply a Wordpress blog and a WebMail Lite portal.
I've noticed that my website loads very slowly before giving the HTTP 503 error code. The only way I've remedied this by logging into CPanel which somehow fixes it. Not sure what to do about this issue.

I would avoid WebMail Lite and just use Horde, Roundcube or SquirrelMail. WebMail Lite is just going to use additional resources that could be used for your website. You should also look into using a caching plugin for WordPress such as W3 Total Cache and possibly CloudFlare. I use both and my site loads at a reasonable speed for free hosting.

That doesn't seem to be the issue. I just did a clean install and I noticed that in the intervals when my site isn't being viewed, my IOPS is at 10/10 upon logging into CPanel, which immediately jumps down to 0/0 in about a second.
