HTTP Error, and Disk Usage increases dramatically!

Every time I try to upload an image I get an HTTP Error (I know, this is a common issue the last days), but also even if the photo is 100kb disk usage increases by 1mb! Something that didn't happen before the error.

Hi kostasvr!
I've been having the same problem and found a solution (if its pictures your adding!)

1. upload your file and get the http error
2. Click on create gallery (second option on the left pane)
3. Click on the picture you want
4. then click back onto Insert Media
5. you should see the picture on the right, then just click insert into page/post (whatever)
