Http error when uploading images

Hi all, I recently have started getting the http error when uploading images. I see this looks to be a common issue. But I am not seeing a resolution. I enjoy being able to use the free services but, unfortunately I am thinking of moving my site to a different provider. Being able to upload images is a basic function of web hosting.
Does anyone have a fix for this issue. My sight has been up for the last 6 months running with no issues until I updated WordPress. Why is this happening I have a couple of other website that have had this issue and had to abandon and rebuild. Very large pain in the a$$.

HTTP ERROR, it's crazy this happened on another site of mine after I updated. Not for sue I want to continue my affiliate account if this is the service provided. http://bmhi.x10host.com is the site affected by this. It seems to be loading really slow and sometimes it will have a back end fetch error. I can refresh and it usually goes away. Whats happening here any ideas?

i was getting exactly the same error with my piwogo gallery instilation im hoping that @Anna can sort this issue for you and everyone else who is curently having problems on the free hosting servers

whilst i would normaly support x 10 and its free hosting i ve got sick and tired of the constant problems caused by the upper admins medling with the system and breaking things ! im now on another free hosting server with another host without none of this constant breaking things ! im just going to let my acount die a death.
