Hi,
I just notice the MX record for x10hostings sub domains are incorrect :dunno:
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=swaty-sg.x10hosting.com
It says
I'm not sure.. if people can send and recevie mail as my domain was changed and my ISP's cache hasn't updated yet...
But the DNS report says something is wrong with it :rant2:
when the MX record is incorrect you can send mail but you cannot receive mail this is because when a e-mail is sent to a server (x10hosting.com server) the other ISP checks the MX record of x10hosting's server and sends it to value is the record. If the attempt fails the other ISP spools it for sometime and is then deteted... Lets say I ran a mail server for testing
Help,
Thank you,
Chirantha
